Hello Saferide - Lund

 

Lund

Two brothers from the south of Sweden came to stay with me
One of them would have gotten my virginity
but he didn't know that back then, did he!
He didn't know that back then.

He went a bit rough on my poetry,
said: there's no chance in hell this will ever grow to be anything.
He said: I mostly like Dylan myself
I said: Shocking! Well
Then he said something else, I didn't understand
Because he came from the south of Sweden, he spoke just like a Dane

You should have seen these brothers!
Freckles all over their pale bodies.
And when they spoke, they made you feel like summer just broke through though it was fall
They made it obvious I was too young, not interesting at all

I always wanted to go to their hometown and knock on their door
And say something interesting and revolting that they'd never heard before
to make them change their minds, after all this time:
Look! There was some cool in me, you know!
They probably still won't think so.

And I'm in Lund again, and nothing's fixed that ever was broken
And I'm in Lund again, and I still don't get things right
And I'm in Lund again, and maybe they have grown up
and maybe they are here
because there's a glow of spring in the hall tonight.

Dois irmãos do sul da Suécia veio para ficar comigo
Uma delas teria chegado a minha virgindade
Mas ele não sabia que naquela época, ele fez!
Ele não sabia que naquela época.

Ele foi um pouco áspero em minha poesia,
Disse: não há nenhuma chance no inferno isso vai crescer até ser qualquer coisa.
Ele disse: Eu gosto de Dylan principalmente a mim mesmo
Eu disse: Chocante! bem
Então ele disse outra coisa, eu não entendia
Porque ele veio do sul da Suécia, ele falou como um dinamarquês

Você deve ter visto estes irmãos!
Sardas por todo o corpo pálido.
E quando eles falaram, eles fizeram você se sentir como o verão apenas rompeu se fosse queda
Fizeram-lhe óbvio que eu era muito jovem, não interessante em tudo

Eu sempre quis ir à sua cidade natal e bater em sua porta
E dizer algo interessante e revoltante que nunca tinha ouvido antes
Para fazê-los mudar de idéia, após todo esse tempo:
Olhe! Houve alguma legal em mim, você sabe!
Eles, provavelmente, ainda não penso assim.

E eu estou em Lund novamente, e nada é fixo que já foi quebrado
E eu estou em Lund novamente, e eu ainda não entendo as coisas direito
E eu estou em Lund de novo, e talvez eles tenham crescido
E, talvez, eles estão aqui
Porque há um brilho de Primavera hoje à noite no salão.
