Third Day - Você ouve o que eu ouço?

 

Do you Hear what I Hear?

Said the night wind to the little lamb:
"Do you see what I see?
Way up in the sky, little lamb

A star, a star, dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite

Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy:
"Do you hear what I hear?
Ringing through the sky, shepherd boy
Do you hear what I hear?
A song, a song, high above the trees
With a voice as big as the sea
With a voice as big as the sea"

Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king:
"Do you know what I know?
In your palace warm, mighty king,
Do you know what I know?
A Child, a Child shivers in the cold
Let us bring Him silver and gold

Said the king to the people everywhere:
"Listen to what I say:
Pray for peace, people everywhere!
Listen to what I say!
The Child, the Child, sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light

Disse o vento noturno ao cordeirinho:
"Você vê o que eu vejo?
Acima nos céus, cordeirinho,
Você vê o que eu vejo?
Uma estrela, uma estrela, dançando na noite
Com uma cauda tão grande como uma pipa
Com uma cauda tão grande como uma pipa"

Disse o cordeirinho ao menino pastor:
"Você ouve o que eu ouço?
Tocando através do céu, menino pastor,

Uma canção, uma canção, elevada acima da árvores
Com uma voz tão grande como o mar
Com uma voz tão grande como o mar"

Disse o menino pastor ao poderoso rei:
"Você sabe o que eu sei?
Em seu palacio quente, poderoso rei,
Você sabe o que eu sei?
Uma criança, uma criança, tremendo no frio
Deixe-nos trazê-Lo prata e ouro

Disse o rei as pessoas em toda parte:
"Ouçam o que eu digo:
Orem pela paz, pessoas em toda parte,
Ouçam o que eu digo!
A criança, a criança, dormindo à noite
Ele nos trará bondade e luz
