Why bees don't go to heaven?

It seems to me the species homo sapiens,
Carries the chutzpah gene
To think they are the purpose of the universe
When they only just arrived on the scene

Whats even worse, they bear a curse
Of believing theyre the only form of life
To never die, and go on living
Somewhere high up in the sky

So why dont bees go to heaven?
And trees go to heaven?
Amoeba, krill and fleas go to heaven?
Its not surprisin that theyre not arisin
Cause man created god

This grain of sand upon an infinite beach
Had been supporting life for trillions of spins
Then along came humans, who started assumin
That this was where it begins
So profoundly naïve, they began to believe
These primates were the only ones
To never die, and go on living
Somewhere high up in the sky

So why dont worms go to heaven?
And germs go to heaven?
Spiders, snakes and sperms go to heaven?
Its quite expected that theyre not resurrected
Cause man created god

If man created zeus, and the god of the sun
If man created shiva, and the god of abraham
From all of life, why should the only one saved
Be the species worst behaved?

Well, thats because
That same species, homo sapiens
Carries the chutzpah gene

And snails go to heaven?
Orang-utans and quail go to heaven?
They dont think twice about paradise

Me parece que a espécie do Home Sapiens
Carrega o gene da audácia
Pensar que são o proposito do Universo
Quando acabaram de chegar aqui

O que é pior, eles carregam uma maldição
A de acreditar que são a única forma de vida
Que nunca morre, e continua viendo
Em algum lugar do céu

Então porque as abelhas não vão pro céu?
E as árvores não vão pro céu?
Amebas, camaões e pulgas vão pro céu
Não é surpresa que eles não ascendam
Porque o homem criou Deus

Esse grão de areia em uma praia infinita
Tem auxiliado a vida por trilhões de ciclos
Daí vieram os humanos que começaram a assumir
Que foi aqui que tudo começou
Tão ingênuos, eles começaram a acreditar
Que esses primatas eram os únicos
A nunca morrer e continuar vivendo
Em algum lugar do céu

Então porque as minhocas não vão pro céu?
E os germes não vão pro céu?
Aranhas, cobras e espermas vão pro céu?
É de se esperar que eles não ressuscitem
Porque o homem criou Deus

Se o homem criou Zeus, e o Deus do Sol
Se o homem criou Shiva, e o Deus de Abraão
De toda a vida, porque a única a ser salva
É a que pior se comporta?

Bem, isso porque
Essa mesma espécie Homo Sapiens
Carrega o gene da audácia
Pensar que são o proposito do Universo
Quando acabaram de chegar aqui

Então porque as baleias não vão pro céu?
Lesmas vão pro céu?
Orangotangos e codornas vão pro céu?
Eles não pensam duas vezes sobre o paraíso
