Sea Ghost

I dove into that freezing sea
With the parasite attached to me
I had hoped the salt below
Would divorce what was wed above

But league after league
It yet remained
For the fleshy vessel I
Kept it sustained

And so we froze a while surrounded by one big tear
Which only reminded me of a former home

But we weren't welcome
The sea made that clear
By filling us with saline
And sailing us blue blue back into
The atmosphere

"You choked as you surfaced, tangled in seaweed"

But what remained?
Of the driving intent?
That led me to tract such watery depths
Many things have betrayed me
Between there and here
And my memory is so fucking unclear

Who was I with? What time was it? Where did you go?

Eu mergulhei naquele mar congelante
Com o parasita grudado em mim
Eu esperava que o sal embaixo
Pudesse divorciar o que se casou acima

Mas liga após liga
Ainda permaneceu
Para o navio suculento eu
Mantive-o sustentado

E então nós congelamos por um tempo cercado por uma grande lágrima
Que só me fez lembrar de uma antiga casa

Mas nós não éramos bem-vindos
O mar deixou isso claro
Enchendo-nos com salina
E carregando-nos azul azul de volta para
A atmosfera

"Você chocado quando apareceu, enrolado em algas marinhas"

Mas o que restou?
Da intenção de dirigir?
Que me levou a um período nas profundezas da água
Muitas coisas me traíram
Entre lá e cá
E minha memória está muito vaga

Quem estava comigo? A que horas foi isso? Aonde você foi?
