April

April is a cruel time
Even though the sun may shine
And world looks in the shade as it slowly comes away
Still falls the april rain
And the valley's filled with pain
And you can't tell me quite why
As i look up to the grey sky
Where it should be blue
Grey sky where i should see you
Ask why, why it should be so
I'll cry, say that i don't know

Maybe once in a while i'll forget and i'll smile
But then the feeling comes again of an april without end
Of an april lonely as they come
In the dark of my mind i can see all too fine
But there is nothing to be done when i just can't feel the sun
And the springtime's the season of the night

Abril

Abril é uma época cruel
Mesmo que o sol possa brilhar
E o mundo pareça que as sombras estejam indo embora
Ainda cai a chuva de abril
E o vale é infestado de dor
E você não consegue nem perguntar por que
Quando eu olho para o céu cinzento
Quando na verdade ele deveria ser azul
Céu cinzendo, onde eu deveria vê-lo
Pergunto por que, por que tem que ser desse jeito
Eu vou gritar, dizer que não sei por que

Talvez vez em quando eu vou esquecer e eu vou sorrir
Mas, em seguida, vem uma vez mais a sensação de um Abril sem fim
De um solitário abril, quando entrarem
No escuro da minha mente eu posso ver tudo claramente
Mas não há nada a ser feito quando eu simplesmente não posso sentir o sol
E a primavera é a estação da noite

Céu cinzento, onde deveria ser azul
