Religions sell salvation
making promises hard to keep
confusing the mind with contradicting beliefs
The modern way of thinking
seeking refuge in a material world
where everchanging values are giving relief
Here we are on the edge of time
minds in confusion are
fading out from reality
fatal illusions of life
Dancing on a volcano
disregarding the count-down has begun
defeating all fears by simply closing our eyes
The future generation
will inherit the idols of our time
at the mercy of perverts
adoring corruption and crime

I feel the cold is spreading out
I feel the doubts are growing
dissatisfaction all about
Hear - what is that sound a-sounding
See - what is that light a-shining
Feel - still there's emotions deep inside
Tearing down the prison walls
of our cloned society
for we sleepwalk in the crowd
of conformity
reconstructing all anew
values of the past
re-alight the flame
if our children are the last
will that be their legacy
this insanity
is there another chance?
