I had to make something of myself,
Momma said that I should go real far,
Wanted me to be Al. B. Damned MP,
University to get my degree,
She went without so I could have,
The schooling to fulfill her dreams,
The grades I made for sure put paid,
Blew those dreams away like a hand grenade.

So momma why did you disown me?
Now the whole world will know me,
Every newspaper will tell my story,
See me on TV.
