Christmas? what a wonderful time of year
But it can also be a dark and lonely time
And if you don't spend it with those you truly love
Well it can feel just like any other day
So this is a prayer for the lonely
Especially those children all around the world
Whose hearts have been torn apart this year

I've thrown out my list and instead of a wish

And I think about the things she's had to see
Things my children can't even imagine
