Yep, I shot him. I shot him dead and good.
I walked right up to that there Sheriff and shot him in the back.
So you stand before me like a varmint with no brains
And you dare to ask the question,
"Did you shoot our Sheriff again?"

So I say...
Yeah, I shot the sheriff. What are you gonna do about it, tough guy?
I'll shoot you too if it pleases me fine
So you tell the rest of the folks in this here town
That I'm the newest, roughest, toughest bastard
And I'm here to deliver some frowns

Yep, I shot the Sheriff. Then I pissed on his head.
So what if he's the Sheriff!? The only good Sheriffs are dead!
So you stand before me like a tumbleweed in a storm
And you dare to speak the words,
