i don't believe anything that i don't see with my own eyes
cause all of the stories written down in those dusty books
are just a bunch of stupid white man's lies
and the heroes our history
are not the great men they are said to be
they all lied raped and stole and spread disease
and genocided nations because of greed
and all i really know for sure
is that i don't know that much at all
and i know that im gonna make up my own mind
and all i'm really trying to say
is don't believe a thing that they say
don't fall for any of there lies

come home from work and you turn on the tube
so that you can watch the evening news
say you've gotta know what's going on in the world around you
can't you see that it's full of shit
do you think your government would ever admit they made a mistake
no none of us know the truth
and all i really know for sure is
i don't really know that much at all and
i know i'm gonna make up my own mind
and all i'm really trying to say
is don't believe a thing that they say
