The nations are fighting tonight
For just another nothing
What's goin'on just isn't right
Somebody's life is stolen
They're sending soldiers to battlefields
To some foreign countries
Where children grow up playing
With toys like guns, bombs and fire

Sometimes you feel it in the wind
You can see it in the eyes of the people
Something wrong is happening
It's like stepping on a wire, on the edge of war

The war masters are back again

They say they fight for a good cause
But you know, justice needs no blood
All over the world it's starting to rain
And you see it's wrong, I know
'Cause if this madmen's race started for real
It would be our turn to run
