Once upon the time I heard
About a rightful king
He should have been so wise and old
And justice did he bring
The people said: he is our man
And his words were shining

Like the good heart he seemed to have
His smile was very bright
He took care of the rich and poor
His life was like a light

But once a servant of the king
That knew him very well
Left the castle to the world
And told the people all
Be careful with this golden man
Before you all will fall down

A wise old rightful king
He took care for order and law
And justice did he bring
But the people knew he was only a liar
They took their swords and killed him
