When I looked at our lives, I could see it
Was falling apart, everything was gone
I looked at myself and at you
Our indifference was all we shared

Like a cancerous growth it had spread
Unaware we were dead

But then God showed the world some true love

A much better life, once again deep within
Jesus is still standing there today
Waiting to show you the way
