every day
more and more insane
is the cut deep enough?
no faith
no fear
just distrust
million stars
to light up tonight
and these roads
these roads lead nowhere

with this mask on our face we still carry on
with open wounds in our hearts we still push towards

hold on to our realm
with a mad man's grip
all the lost worlds
lie on our book shelf bleeding
in rust disappointment
in rust disbelief
irony of this
in fragments of our relief...

as the shadows of our prisons fall down over us
to heal and sedate

the soil will leave us hungry again.
